As of September 2017 Marc has been a guest professor of viola at the Royal Conservatory of Mons in Belgium. There he takes on the duty of imparting his knowledge accumulated through years of performance, successes and failures to the next generation of musicians. 

'It is not only a great pleasure to teach, I feel it is my duty to pass on what I know to young musicians. Teaching is a selfish profession because more often than not, the teacher learns more than the student.'
