The Swiss regional paper reported that a large audience gathered in St. Johannes church in Döttingen for the Hochrheinisches Kammerorchester, conducted by Leonardo Muzii, and thanked the musicians with standing ovations. Marc Sabbah, "born in New York and living in Belgium", was the soloist in Franz Anton Hoffmeister's Viola Concerto in D major, which earned great applause, and closed the evening with Johann Nepomuk Hummel's Potpourri for viola and orchestra, Op. 94 – which, the critic wrote, he played "brilliantly, with magnificent viola playing". The audience demanded an encore with thunderous applause and thanked him with a standing ovation.
