“When there are no words, there is music”
Zócalo Saltillo

“Music is a force for me to communicate. When there are no words, there is music… it goes directly to the heart.”
— Zócalo Saltillo
Summary in English of the Spanish article "El violista Marc Sabbah prepara presentación en Saltillo".
In an interview before his first visit to Saltillo, part of a tour through Mexico, Marc Sabbah told Zócalo that music is his way of communicating. Speaking on Tele Saltillo, he described the viola as the "older brother of the violin" – a little smaller than the cello, with a voice very close to the human voice, "very beautiful and very philosophical".
Accompanied by maestro Natanael Espinosa, he recalled going to concerts as a child holding his mother's hand, starting the violin at three and switching to the viola at eleven. The article also notes his teaching career and his years as principal violist of the Belgian National Orchestra.
